Subject:Frequency domain binaural model and its application(频域双耳模型及其应用)
- Computer model for selectively listening to a specific sound –


 Abstract: Human beings are able to listen to a specific sound within multiple sound sources or noisy environment using binaural hearing. In this lecture, the basics of binaural hearing is discussed as well as short history of binaural modeling. Also details of Frequency Domain Binaural Model developed by the author's group is discussed with its applications such as a hearing assistance system which is implemented on a small portable device.
